Caregiver and Me Art Group
Join us for a joyful hour of artmaking, exploration, and connection! In this caregiver-and-child art group, children ages 3–5 and their caregivers create side-by-side using a variety of engaging materials and creative invitations. Caregivers gain practical tools for supporting children’s creativity, independence, and confidence while sharing meaningful time together through art and play.
When: Mondays from 10 - 11 am, June 8th - July 13th

Art as a Meditation
Give yourself the gift of creative exploration. In this four-week workshop, you’ll engage in blending intuitive art-making with guided writing and reflection. The space offers a supportive, judgment-free environment—no critique, just space to listen inward and build awareness. We’ll draw, paint, sculpt, collage, and experiment freely. No prior art experience is needed. Materials will be provided. Adults 18+

Makers’ Circle
Join us in creating a cozy, communal space for crafting and conversation to collide. For women who want to make things with their hands while swapping stories, venting a little, and enjoying the simple fun of being together.
Whether you knit, crochet, color, or dabble in a bit of everything, you’re welcome to pull up a seat and join in. Bring a project or just bring yourself—there’s always something to work on and someone to chat with. It’s imperfect, a little quirky, and exactly the kind of place where you can unwind, get inspired, and feel right at home.

Art-Based Supervision & Peer Consultation Group
Create Balance offers a weekly in-person, art-based supervision group. Supervision will meet the requirements for both the LCPC and ATR supervision.
Art as a Tool for Coping
Art can serve as a valuable resource for teens to express and process emotions. Through this 4 week group, participants will learn how to use painting, sculpting, drawing, and journaling as a tool to manage life’s stressors.
2024 Vision Board Workshop
Create a vision board to set intentions and connect with your 2024 goals in the creative, failure and judgment-free space at Create Balance. This in-person workshop includes art materials and light refreshments. No art experience is needed. Participants ages 18 and up.

Intro to Yoga Therapy
Create Balance is offering a virtual workshop for clinicians to learn about using yoga therapy as a supplementary treatment to support clients in managing trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, and chronic illness. The workshop will also provide tools for self-care and will be led by our yoga therapist, Christine Saari, MA, E-RYT 200, C-BDYT.
